Below are some of the feature keys on the keyboard:

" Shift

Select this key to an uppercase letter or a punctuation

mark on a number key.

" Backwards Delete

Select this key to erase the previous character.

" Shift Lock

Select this key to lock the keyboard into the upper-

case letters. Select this again to return to the lower-

case letters.

" Hard Return

Select this key to force a return into the text.

" Alternate Keyboard

Select this key to switch to an alternate keyboard. Us-

ing the shift keys, these letters also switch to upper-

case:

" Palette Access

Select this key to switch to the screen palette, on

which you use either your fingertip or your stylus pen

to write your text.
