About the USB Host

You can use the USB host interface port on the printer to connect these

peripheral devices:

• USB flash drive

• Keyboard

• Bar code scanner

• USB hub

Connect a USB Storage Device

You can insert a USB storage device into the USB host port on the

front of PM43 or into the USB host port on the back of the PM43 and

PM43c printers. The USB storage device provides the ability to

upgrade the firmware, install resources, export resources, print a file,

and configure the printer. The USB storage device needs to be

formatted as FAT16 or FAT32.

When you insert a USB storage device into the printer, a USB Device

menu appears:
